PryorMorrow was proud to be a part of the groundbreaking ceremony for the Lee County Career & Technical Education Center at the HIVE industrial park in Tupelo, MS on Thursday, July 16. The center will accommodate four shop-based classes and five classroom-based classes.
Proposed pathways include:
*Health Science
*Teacher Academy
*Information Technology
*Hospitality and Tourism
*Construction/Carpentry
*Transportation, Distribution and Logistics
*Industrial Maintenance
*Ag Power Equipment/Ag and Natural Resources
Lee County School District voters overwhelmingly approved a $15 million dollar bond issue in January of this year to finance the center. This bond requires no tax increase for LCSD taxpayers. Plans are to have the building ready for classes starting in August 2021.
