The renovated building, which once housed Jitney Jungle and Pass It On in West Point, MS, now has three courtrooms and offices, Judge chambers, meeting space, and secure holding areas. The high-tech building will allow two judges to operate simultaneously in Circuit Court, expediting cases, and allowing evidence to be presented from dash cameras and body cameras in Justice Court. The building was purchased by the Board of Supervisors under a 20-year lease-purchase agreement with the tax-exempt construction arm of the Golden Triangle Planning and Development District.
