The Winston County Annex is a three-story municipal building that houses emergency management, sheriff’s offices, and supervisor board meeting space. The new annex was built in the same location as the original building, which was constructed in 1948. The original building was previously a county health center and later used for justice court and several other county offices. Winston County deemed it necessary to demolish the entire annex building due to structural damage for termite infestation.
