PryorMorrow would like to wish Founding Director and Architect Chris Morrow, AIA, a very happy retirement! PryorMorrow team members from our Columbus, Brandon, and Tupelo offices joined us today to celebrate this milestone with food, and fond memories shared by all.
Chris Morrow has over 37 years of professional experience as an architect. He co-founded Pryor and Morrow Architects in 1985 with Roger Pryor, AIA.
He spent his professional career designing major projects with an emphasis on K-12 educational facilities, collegiate projects, and building envelope restorations.
“I would like to design a building that requires zero maintenance over its lifespan. Design, instruction, documentation, execution, and construction should all continue to improve and strive for higher quality. In the end, I hope I have motivated people to do things right the first time, whether this is a drawing line weight or a correct caulking technique.” – Chris Morrow
Morrow is a past member of the Mississippi State University School of Architecture Advisory Council and the Mississippi State Board of Architecture. A native Mississippian and a graduate of Mississippi State University, Morrow has practiced since 1983.
