PryorMorrow partnered with Allred Mcnabb Architects on this $25 million project that consisted of five buildings, totaling 68,000 square feet. The campus was built in Biloxi, Mississippi following Hurricane Katrina. It was completed in 2012.
The facility includes separate buildings for the Bureau of Narcotics and Investigation, the State Highway Patrol, a small crime lab, grounds maintenance, and vehicle maintenance. The facility required extensive pressure mapping to ensure IEQ requirements for strict humidity and temperature control requirements in laboratory spaces. Also, the facility was designed to withstand 140 mph winds and provide support for disaster response and recovery operations.
